More implausible spam

A wee bit creepy
I just got two copies of the same spam about 11 minute apart (never a good sign), and this one has a particularly bizarre premise. Some fellow claiming to have been a former archbishop in the Catholic church apparently has $7.2 million that he wants to pass along to me so I can continue his good works on behalf of homeless children.

First, how many archhbishops are going to have $7.2M(!) lying around in their personal bank accounts? He claims to have inherited it from his dad, but even if that were true I doubt it would be sitting around in a random bank account for him to reassign without the church taking an interest.

Second, how many people get to the level of archbishops (and have dads who are oil and diamond tycoons) and don’t know a better way to manage that kind of money than e-mailing random strangers and hoping for the best!

Sorry – gotta go – I appear to have won three or four major international lotteries in the last few minutes…
