There's a reason we save these things

My wonderful wife as a wee one with her mum. The picture’s actually hanging with the dress she was wearing, which her mum made out of scraps.

This was part of a display at the Stevens County Museum in association with the EGA National Exhibit that’s been here in Morris for the past several weeks.

  1. The dress shown wasn’t made by my mum but by my godmother’s mother, who was also a distant cousin.

    I don’t have too many photos of when I was young so I love seeing this one again.

  2. Darn! I knew as I wrote that (from memory) that I was going to get some part of the story wrong. Lucking you’re here to fix these mistakes when they come up!

    I like the photo of the photo – it makes a very nice desktop background for people who (quite understandably) want to dote on WeatherGirl.
