I love it when art and science go out on a date
Ninety-six printmakers of all experience levels, have joined together to produce 118 prints in any medium; woodcut, linocut, monotype, etching, lithograph, silkscreen, or any combination. The end result is a periodic table of elements intended to promote both science and the arts.
Some way cool stuff - definitely worth the visit. Thanks to mitten for the pointer.

Similar, but only just, to this post is the work of Marvin Hill. He did (he has passed on and his wife now does re-prints of his work) a strange little project called a periodic table, but not of the standard elements. I like to think of them as the ‘elements as the Humanities might see them’. Anyway, quickly and interesting.
