I found an article on schulte’s blog :: WordPress Bug With xmlrpc.php Discovered, which may explain why pingback/trackback doesn’t seem to be working on our new weblogs. I’ll have to come back to this and try it out later. I found this, BTW, from a search for pingback on the WordPress support forums.
