As reported on MichaelMorre.com, Moore’s excellent “Fahrenheit 9/11” won the favorite movie award Sunday night.
Ain’t life amazing? I certainly find it remarkable that this film could do so well in the same country that elected W. two months ago. Says much about the complex nature of our ~300 million souls.
I’d love to know more about the way in which the ballots were collected and the possibilities of fraud here. I know that I voted for 9/11 on-line and it wasn’t clear that it would be all that difficult to electronically stuff the ballot box. Not that I have any reason to believe that anything like this happened, it just didn’t seem the most secure system to me.

Are comments turned on? Or are you moderating…
We do have moderating turned on on all three of these weblogs, and annoyingly, WordPress doesn’t provide any indication to the comment leaver that their comment has been queued for moderation. Hmph.
Am I correct in assuming that you’re not using moderating on Extended Abstract? Have you had trouble with spammers and the like?

Feel free to delete comments 2-3 as I was just testing Traceback. I don’t have moderation turned on. I use the spam filtering provided by wordpress (keyword based) and I changed the name of the wp-comments.php file to wp-nospam-comments.php and changed it in other places. There are other things one can do too — I did these because they were quick and easy and mentioned somewhere on the wordpress.org site as a the first things one should do to deal with spam. I still get hit every now and again — it happens about once a month and they come in a flurry, so it’s easy for me to just go in and delete them. I prefer this to moderation.
