Yeah, I’m back from Dagstuhl, and it was definitely extremely cool. Riccardo went insane again and we (mostly he) generated a paper from scratch, start to finish in one week. Wow.

  1. WOW! From nothing to a paper in one week, that is fantastic. It is amazing what can happen in one week.

    I hope you post some pictures from Dagstuhl on Flikr or the blog. I’ve got the snowy tree as a desktop pictures right now.

    I enjoyed going to SoftwareD last week, it should be a very interesting project. As always I love the energy of a fresh group starting a project. I hoping that I’ll be able to come back at the end of March to get an update.

  3. Dan: Yeah, that was pretty wonderfully crazy, but an awful lot of that is credit to Riccardo, et al, for being incredibly bright, driven people. I’ve posted a few pictures on Flickr and definitely planning on posting more when I get a bit of space (the CSci search is super busy right now). Thanks for visiting the class and sharing with them. I just wish I could have been there.
