Just before we came up to Preston for the holidays I was able to spend some time taking photos in the beautiful frost we’d been having in Colchester. This is one of the results of that little adventure.

I bet you’re missing the snow. We got a lot of it today, on top of the 6″ base.
Fresh snow really is beautiful; I assure you, however, that I don’t miss shoveling, however :-). As a southern boy I must say I prefer a warm summer to a snowy winter.
Last sabbatical we managed to miss a particularly cold and snowy winter, and it looks like we may be 2 for 2 on that!
