I think “re-illusioned” is a great phrase – I definitely feel re-illusioned! Sub-Evil was talking this morning about how proud he felt about this Presidential outcome; it’s the kind of thing that can really impact someone his age.

There is no other word for it; McCain was gracious in defeat. Hopefully a more ‘centerist’ approach comes about from this election.

Is it possible to be come re-allusioned with a system? Because I feel pretty good about being an American after last night.

Agree 200% with this post! There are many ways to serve a nation and if McCain really meant his gracious concession speech last night, his best course would be to work with his party to heal the divisions they’ve created over the past 8 years. As Obama pointed out, we have some major challenges ahead of us and we cannot meet those challenges if we’re divided against ourselves. Let’s hope that McCain is able to swallow the defeat and find another path to being a major influence in this country.
