She&#8217;d been posting updates on <a href=\"http:\/\/thomasmcphee.com\">our family news page<\/a>, including some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thomasmcphee.com\/html\/modules.php?set_albumName=Galapagos-2005-Espanola&#038;op=modload&#038;name=gallery&#038;file=index&#038;include=view_album.php\">nifty pics<\/a>, and I&#8217;d even <a href=\"http:\/\/unhinderedbytalent.com\/Phi\/archives\/2005\/02\/10\/i-just-imed-with-my-sister-in-the-galapagos\/\">IM&#8217;ed with her<\/a> once from there (ain&#8217;t <em>that<\/em> crazy?).<\/p>\n<p>The timing was really cool and we got to talk about <a href=\"http:\/\/unhinderedbytalent.com\/Phi\/archives\/2005\/04\/06\/paul-nelson-my-new-un-poster-child\/\">Greg Nelson&#8217;s speech last night<\/a>, which was cool.  (I definitely recommend Pharyngula&#8217;s nice <a href=\"http:\/\/pharyngula.org\/index\/weblog\/comments\/i_love_our_students\/\">report of events<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>Another Misty connection is that the weather&#8217;s nice and all our bikes are out of the basement and on the road again!  Mine&#8217;s been out for nigh on a month, which was arguably premature (it sat in the snow and rain a fair bit), but we brought the other two out a week or two ago.  It&#8217;s been wonderful riding around town again, and riding in to school with <a href=\"http:\/\/UnhinderedByTalent.com\/SubEvilBoy\">Sub-Evil Boy<\/a> in the morning.  Misty gets big kudos for helping Sub-Evil learn to ride a bike and helping me buy a nice bike when we were in Duluth.
