As an intelligent person, you&#8217;d be too depressed by things like<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n<b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.overheardinnewyork.com\/archives\/006526.html\">It&#8217;s a Trap! Buy the Schopenhauer!<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Guy: Hey, I&#8217;m lookin&#8217; for a book.<\/p>\n<p>Lady behind the counter: Um, okay. Did you have any particular one in mind?<\/p>\n<p>Guy, laughing: No. Hell no. I don&#8217;t fuckin&#8217; read. I&#8217;m just lookin&#8217; for something I can take over to Central Park so I can get hit on by chicks who think I&#8217;m smart and shit.<\/p>\n<p>Lady behind counter: Try Nietzsche.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;Barnes &#038; Noble, Broadway between 82nd &#038; 83rd\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>You know that you&#8217;ll waste a ton of time being exposed to the most inane sorts of human discourse (not to mention a lot of language your grandmother just wouldn&#8217;t approve of).
