What an amazing idea. Commemerate a time when we actually used courage and intelligent discussion to avoid<\/em> blowing the crap out of somebody. A moment where military and political strength came from thoughtful wrestling with complex issues. A moment of enormous stress, but where the immediate response was not to eviscerate civil liberties. A moment we can actually be really proud of.<\/p>\n
