{"id":562,"date":"2007-05-25T00:06:28","date_gmt":"2007-05-25T05:06:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/UnhinderedByTalent.com\/Phi\/?p=562"},"modified":"2007-05-25T00:58:43","modified_gmt":"2007-05-25T05:58:43","slug":"pirates-3-was-good-fun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/UnhinderedByTalent.com\/Phi\/archives\/2007\/05\/25\/pirates-3-was-good-fun\/","title":{"rendered":"Pirates 3 was good fun"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.aintitcool.com\/images2007\/pirates3alarge.jpg?w=400\" alt=\"Pirates of the Caribbean 3 poster\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Despite <a href=\"http:\/\/skatje.com\/\">Skatje<\/a>&#8216;s warnings (via <a href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/pharyngula\/2007\/05\/hey_stevens_county_people.php\">PeeZed<\/a>) about the crowds (or what passes for such here in sleepy Morris), we all saw <em>Pirates of the Carribean 3<\/em> tonight.<\/p>\n<p>By the time we saw the warning (great use of PeeZed&#8217;s blog!), Sub-Evil Boy had already headed out in an effort to stake out some front row seats for his friends. <a href=\"http:\/\/UnhinderedByTalent.com\/WeatherGirl\/\">WeatherGirl<\/a> and I figured we&#8217;d head over around 7:40pm and see what the lines were like. It was definitely busy for a Morris Theatre showing of a film, but certainly not too insanely crowded, so we went on in. Skatje and the two others behind the candy counter were looking pretty busy, though!<\/p>\n<p>This film was definitely a vast improvement over the mess of the second film and quite enjoyable. Probably not as fresh and creative as the first <em>Pirates<\/em>, but we giggled our way through fair bits of it. I&#8217;m guessing that PeeZed will be well amused by several parts :-).
