That is a truly incredible collection of antiquities, and free to boot.  I pretty much spent the whole day there, and could easily have spent three (except that after a while you&#8217;d just OD and pass out somewhere under a piece of classic Greek sculpture).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/nicmcphee\/1343701628\/\" title=\"Photo Sharing\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/farm2.static.flickr.com\/1045\/1343701628_a6fd7aad86.jpg?w=450\" alt=\"Americans abroad\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The slideshow below has what is <a href=\"http:\/\/flickr.com\/photos\/nics_events\/sets\/72157601918174867\/\">roughly the better half of the over 400 photos that I took that day<\/a>.  It starts with photos I took in the Colchester train station on my way out, so don&#8217;t be too confused.  If you want to skip ahead, click on one of the little numbers under the sequence of thumbnails, and it&#8217;ll jump to that &#8220;page&#8221; of thumbnails.
