I&#8217;d been meaning to say something about some of these and haven&#8217;t had time, so I&#8217;ll point you to her excellent words instead!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em><a href=\"http:\/\/unhinderedbytalent.com\/WeatherGirl\/archives\/2005\/03\/07\/sideways\/\">Sideways<\/a><\/em>:  I think I liked the film more than she did, but not so much as to explain the enormous buzz (critical and Oscar), especially when <cite>Kinsey<\/cite> got so much less attention.<\/li>\n<li><cite><a href=\"http:\/\/unhinderedbytalent.com\/WeatherGirl\/archives\/2005\/03\/07\/king-arthur-directors-cut-dvd\/\">King Arthur<\/a><\/cite> (on DVD):  So much possibility, too much unrealized.  Kera Knightly is <em>so<\/em> cool, as is the battle on the frozen lake.<\/li>\n<li><em><a href=\"http:\/\/unhinderedbytalent.com\/WeatherGirl\/archives\/2005\/03\/14\/hide-and-seek\/\">Hide and seek<\/a><\/em>:  I figured out even less than WeatherGirl (although I felt like I should have figured it out) and was thoroughly creeped out.  Not as good a <em>film<\/em> as, say <cite>Sixth sense<\/cite>, but very high on the raw scary meter.<\/li>\n<li><cite><a href=\"http:\/\/unhinderedbytalent.com\/WeatherGirl\/archives\/2005\/03\/15\/kinsey\/\">Kinsey<\/a><\/cite>:  I could write a book about this, but won&#8217;t.  Really good film about a very important person, and powerful portrait of the kind of passion and commitment (and accompanying myopia) that is involved in seeing a major (and controversial) project like that through.<\/li>\n<li><cite><a href=\"http:\/\/unhinderedbytalent.com\/WeatherGirl\/archives\/2005\/03\/16\/the-turn-of-the-screw\/\">Turn of the screw<\/a><\/cite>:  Very cool play nicely done.  Remarkable how much breadth and depth they got from such a simple setting and a fine two-person cast.  Kudos to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theactingcompany.org\/\">The Acting Company<\/a> for a truly fine production, and to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.morris.umn.edu\/stuorgs\/CAC\/Arts\/\">PAC<\/a> for bringing it to Morris!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thanks to WeatherGirl!
