Intense. Put young men with too much testosterone together with the US Marine ethos and you have pretty explosive fare. All I can say is this film reinforces my pacifistic tendencies in a pretty serious way. (As the mother of a son this stuff scares the shit out of me!)
Some reveiwers seem to be claiming this film was slow or boring or dull or some such descriptor. I don’t think we’ve been watching the same movie. You should definitely watch this movie it has some very inciteful things to say about young men and some of their hardwiring.
