A faithful retelling of C.S. Lewis&#8217;, <em>The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe<\/em>.  Great for younger children but there&#8217;s not quite enough going on for anyone else.  There were some great emotional moments, like <em>the<\/em> death scene (I didn&#8217;t think it suffered through lack of gore, unlike others) and Tilda Swinton is pitch perfect as the witch.<\/p>\n<p>As for the whole Christian allegory issue, it&#8217;s a brouhaha in a teacup.  I didn&#8217;t see it when I read the book as a child and I didn&#8217;t see very much of it as an adult.  This fantasy world seems to be just that too me.  <em>Eye of the beholder<\/em> seems the relevant tag.<\/p>\n<p>Current temperature 21F\/-6C<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Slow.
