She was way to young and I shall miss the insightful way she talked about the world in which we live.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;re probably thinking, who the heck is <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/2\/hi\/entertainment\/4759922.stm\">Linda Smith<\/a>?  Well, she was one of the funniest people in the universe.   So amusing, in fact that she was voted the wittiest person by Radio 4 listeners in 2002.  She&#8217;s one of the few comedians who would make me laugh so hard I cried.  If you check out the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/bbc7\">BBC7 web site<\/a> for past editions of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/radio4\/comedy\/newsquiz.shtml\">The News Quiz<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/radio4\/comedy\/justaminute.shtml\">Just a Minute<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/radio4\/comedy\/clue.shtml\">I&#8217;m Sorry I Haven&#8217;t a Clue<\/a> perhaps you&#8217;ll get to hear her too.<\/p>\n<p>Listen live this Friday at 12.30pm CST to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/radio4\/\">BBC Radio 4<\/a> and you&#8217;ll hear a special tribute version of the News Quiz.
